Who are we?

The Friends of Cradle Valley are a community-based advocacy group that was formed in February 1992, operating previously under different names such as the Cradle Mountain Advisory Group and the Friends of Cradle Valley CARes group.

The Friends of Cradle Valley brings together people who share an interest and concern for the care and conservation of the Cradle Mountain - Lake St Clair National Park.

Some of our members are young, others are retirees. Some of us are keen bushwalkers, some are commercial operators and some just love the place. Within this key stakeholders' group, there is a great wealth and diversity of experience.
